Self-host the tower. Keep the pager.
The app works against the hosted service out of the box. Running the data plane on your own hardware instead? Pair your box with a pingtower.com account — one command prints a one-shot code you redeem in the app — and your self-hosted alerts ring the same phone, because Apple push for the App Store app can only be sent by us.
