# Install & sign in

Get the app, sign up with an email and password, then create or join a tenant.

1. **Install the app**

   [Join the TestFlight beta](https://testflight.apple.com/join/EBPRZ5De).The beta is open to everyone, with no invite needed; when the app ships on the App Store the link changes and your account carries over.

2. **Sign up or sign in**

   Email and password. Signing up creates an account and nothing else. Passwords are at least eight characters. The sign-in limiter allows a handful of attempts and then refills over about five minutes, so a mistyped password is not a lockout.

3. **Create or join a tenant**

   The second screen is the tenant picker. Create one, paste an invite token a teammate sent you, or redeem a [join code](/docs/ios/pairing/) from your own box. You can belong to several tenants and switch between them from Account.

4. **Allow notifications**

   iOS asks twice: once for ordinary notifications, once for [critical alerts](/docs/ios/critical/). Say yes to both if you want a 3 a.m. page to make a sound.

There is no reset flow in the app. Write to [support@pingtower.com](mailto:support@pingtower.com) from the account's email address.
